Campus Access Requests
What is Campus Access?
Campus access is the process of reserving outdoor tabling and event space on campus. Access to outdoor tabling is open to registered student organizations and University departments. All requests must comply with University policies and procedures.
Please Read Before Making A Reservation!
*Our Campus Access maps have been recently updated, so please double check the map when selecting your space.
Campus access requests are completed online.
If you are reserving space in the Quad, Bobcat Trail or LBJ Mall, the following reservation forms can be accessed through our online reservation system
- Information, Solicitation, Special Event, Amplified Sound
Please click on the button labeled "Campus Access Outdoor Tabling" to login in to the online reservation system.
If you are requesting space outside the of above listed locations, a paper request form may be required.
*Off Campus Solicitation and Electioneering requests are still submitted solely via physical form to the Student Involvement front desk
*If you are a non-TXST entity who wishes to reserve space to hand out information (this cannot include solicitation), please submit an Information Space Request form to the Student Involvement front desk
All reservations are for assigned spaces.
Power is not provided in the Quad. If you need it, please reserve space in the LBJ Mall and request power.
Texas State University recommends that you wear a mask if your event is indoors, regardless of vaccination status.
If your tabling event will have food or drinks that are not storebought and factory sealed, a valid food handler's certification and an approved Temporary Food Establishment Permit are required.
Tabling space is available in the Quad, LBJ Mall and Bobcat Trail. Maps for each space can be viewed below.

Requesting outdoor tabling space at the Round Rock Campus?
Please utilize the forms below if you are requesting space to table at the Round Rock campus. All forms should be sent to SARoundRock@txstate.edu for review and approval.

Off-Campus Solicitation
Please submit your Off-Campus Solicitation Request in paper form to the Student Involvement Desk on the 4th floor of the LBJ Student Center.

Electioneering
Updates to the electioneering policy and form will be available on October 1, 2021 via our Electioneering Policy website!

Temporary Food Establishment Permit
A Temporary Food Establishment Permit (TFE) is required for all open events (including outdoor tabling) where food is being served*. The TFE must be submitted to Environmental Health Safety and Risk Management (ehs@txstate.edu) for review and approval. Once the TFE is approved, EHS sends a copy to us and we attach it to your online reservation request.
*Factory sealed items do not require a TFE

Outdoor Events with Amplified Sound
The Outdoor Events with Amplified Sound form must be submitted if you wish to have amplified sound at your event. This physical form is utilized for Sewell Park and other outdoor areas not available to reserve via our online reservation system.
If you are requesting amplified sound at your event in the LBJ Mall or Bobcat Trail, please submit your request via the online reservation system and select the event type as "Amplified Sound"
