Earl Moseley Scholarship
The Earl Moseley Memorial Scholarship is named in memory of Earl Lee Moseley, Jr., a Southwestern University graduate, who arrived at Texas State (then Southwest Texas State) in 1985.
Two (2) scholarships are awarded to full-time undergraduate Texas State students with good academic standings (2.5+ GPA), community service, and that have submitted 200-word essay along with two (2) recommendation forms.

LBJ Achievement Scholarship
Lyndon B. Johnson, 36th president of the United States, was sworn into office after the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Johnson, hereby known as LBJ, launched an ambitious slate of progressive reforms aimed at creating a “Great Society” for all Americans. Many programs he championed are Medicare, Head Start, the Voting Rights Act, and the Civil Rights Act.

Texas Leadership Scholars Program
The Texas Leadership Scholars program, supported by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB), is a state-wide, premier leadership program aimed at keeping high achieving, low-income Texas graduates in the state to pursue their higher education. The program will support high-achieving, low-income students in their postsecondary aspirations. The program consists of connecting cohorts of participating students with peer and professional networks and mentors, support leadership development, provide opportunities for undergraduate research, and offer job skills such as resume writing, social media use, communication, and collaboration.

Top Scholars Program
Top Scholars is a scholarship advising program for recipients of the LBJ Achievement Scholarship, and is based on first-generation status, TRIO Program membership, and participation in free or reduced lunch programs.
In this program, students will engage in different on-campus events, group meetings, and one-on-one meetings.
